Olympics in the classic era
Olympic games were being organized in the 2nd week of July every 4 years. They used to last from 1 day at the beginning (7th century BC) to 5 days in the 5th century. During the 4 years between two Olympics other games were being held (Nemea and Isthmia, every other year each)
